Two Community Maps Added to TF2 Scout Update
Vertical is the New Horizontal
by Coop

Yesterday prepared Team Fortress 2 players for insanity in the coming days with the revelation of the Sandman, a new weapon for the Scout. Today brings a calmer, but equally important update: two community maps made official. Sure, it's no baseball bat, but we couldn't expect Valve to bat .400 with this update, right?
Arena_ Watchtower and CP_Junction will both be made into official maps, and come packaged with the free update next week. First, Watchtower, which is described as "An Arena map that plays unlike any of Valve’s Arena maps, with a heavy focus on vertical space and long, open sight lines. Control of the central building is a key decision that teams must wrestle over. More Sniper friendly than most Arena maps, it’s a perfect complement to the Scout update. Batter up!"
Junction, on the other hand, is "A Gravel-Pit style map that the community has been heckling us to include for months. Junction is a sharp contrast to Watchtower. It’s full of tight spaces and short sight lines, which create combat opportunities dominated by ambushes and explosive weaponry."
More content is more gooder, so be sure to check back as more information is revealed in the coming days.
