Best Buy Voiding Xbox 360 Warranties?
Gamers have been returning defective Xbox 360's to Best Buy only to hear that their warranty has been voided.

If the rumors are true, then what the hell is Best Buy doing? Gamers have been taking their defective Xbox 360's back to Best Buy and handing them over to the "Geek Squad" who disappear in the back for a few minutes to "check it out". When they come back with the results, they say someone has tampered with it, voiding the warranty. Has this happened to anyone else? Read the full story at The Consumerist.

If this is true no one should shop at Best Buy
The Geek Squad are pieces of shit. They won't hire me or any of the people that I know that are just as qualified to do the job, if not more.
BOO BEST BUY. BOO BEST BUY.
In all fairness, my only experience with the Geek Squad was a decidedly positive experience. I took my laptop in with a burned out backlight. This usually costs around $200, but mine is a widescreen, so I expected it to be around $300-$350. They charged me $300, got it fixed before their estimated time and gave me $50 back because the part was less than expected.
Regardless, if this guy's story is true then that's f'd up.
