Bioshock

The brits number one cup of tea

by monopoly

Well well what a suprise to hear that Bioshock won an award for game of the year. It would be a suprise, if you were a raving idiot. The kind people at the British Acadamey Video Game Awards bestowed this title apon a worthy deciple in the realm of videogames this year. I mean come on how could the eriest most well put together game of the year not win an award. At least our friends across the pond aren't so enveloped in Halo 3 that they couldn't see a quality game right before their eyes. I philosophized since the first day I played the game that if HG Wells were to create a game that this would be it. With a storyline rich in science fiction, and the graphics to back it up they should have just handed them the 2008 award to. I hope to see more games follow in the footsteps of Bioshock. Or I should say I hope to see more games come out that are as well thought out as this one. Bioshock might not be the greatest game of all time (yet), but it definitely made me look twice at what videogames could be and not what they are.

Nice to know that all of the hard work that Kevin Levine & his team put into it is now paying off. Excellent game all of the way.

Bioshock is my favorite game at the time. My favorite so far of all games.
I love everything about it: the music, the graphics the story and the way it is
    set up.
