Caution tape has been used to protect innocent civilians from crossing over dangerous sights and crime or accident scenes. When you got a wound that needs bandaging, it's only fair that you mark off that area so no one stumbles upon your gushing knee scrape. Especially because sometimes these aren't accidents and need to be further investigated.
Wow...I've finally got to say gushing. Now that's something to celebrate.

USB drives have come quite a ways, aesthetically, in different shapes and sizes and also in conveniences. Now the technology of the USB drive is getting even more impressive. The LG Vaccine is a plug-in antivirus program that monitors any ingoing and outgoing communications. Way to go, LG!
Similar to the Guitar Hero techniques, the Music Wizard Group has developed another rhythm game to actually teach you how to play a musical instrument. Following last year's piano version is Guitar Wizard. Much like GH, you follow a screen of colored buttons to represent different notes and strings. However, with the aim of actually teaching you to play guitar, there are much more buttons to follow. The game monitors your progression and accelerates your lessons as you go along. Available in the US in August, the game itself will be $149.95 and the guitar will be a separate $299. Sounds pricey, but in the long run it's cheaper than lessons.

Some photos from Mars have been causing quite a stir when some pictures from Mars, taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft, sported something that looks like a man made doorway. The odd image was totally overlooked by NASA, and was pointed out by a Russian reader of the Portal R&D Cnews. NASA has since claimed that it is the result of weather erosion.

Someone had the guts to melt a bunch of Lego blocks together in attempt to be crafty. However, it's just really ugly. I have to agree with Geekologie on this one. Why didn't they just build a Lego lamp? Especially a melt-proof one, cause melty Legos just aren't cutting it.
Of all gimmicky iPod accessories this is actually something I could see myself using. How many times have you wanted to play a song for a group of people and all you guys had were your iPods and headphones? Or what about when you're on a road trip or in a plane with a friend? It's fun to share music! The Belkin Rockstar is a six port hub, one input and five outputs, so you and your friends can plug into one iPod and listen together. Not a bad price at $20 either!
