Puzzle Quest Galactrix Demo Playable Online
Thousands of Productivity Hours Lost Today
by Raccoonacorn

If you're a fan of Puzzle Quest, chances are you've been anxiously waiting for the next hit of pixel-crack from developer Infinite Interactive. Today you can get your first taste.
A Flash trial of Puzzle Quest Galactrix is playable HERE.
You'll get a taste of the new hexagon-based gameplay in a single battle. If you want to read a full review of the gameplay, check out Coop's impressions from his playtime at this year's E3. And you should play the demo, too. It's awesome.
I will say this - it has that Puzzle Quest feel, yet there is definitely a fresh new coat of varnish on this baby. The hexagonal playing field and gems that drop from any angle feel a bit strange at first...but something about this speaks to a much deeper gaming experience. Also, the music and sound effects are top-notch. Seriously, I'm listening to the music loop while I type this – I would pay real human dollars to listen to this soundtrack.
So stop reading my words. Go play it. Don't get fired. If you do, then we'll settle this with a space battle or twenty when this game hits the market.

sweeeeeeet, I'll have to try it out.
Oh great, like I don't have enough distractions!
Well there goes any hope I had of having a productive week.
(what the fuck is up with that red laser??)
I think I enjoy being able to just touch the gems I'd like to move, like in the DS game.
I will still become completely addicted to this game when it comes out though.
Then I will battle you all... to the death.
