Take-Two is just announcing stuff all over the place today. Just a little while ago, we found out that their GTA IV DLC would be delayed until Q1 2009. Fortunately, this news will be a little better. During T2's conference call today, Strauss Zelnick told investors not to expect the upcoming BioShock film to be released around the same time as BioShock 2 (which is supposedly coming out at the end of next year), but more likely alongside BioShock 3. Yes, that's right, Take-Two's cooking up a trilogy.

Assuming that the developers manage to keep the same level of story and gameplay as the first game, this is fantastic news for BioShock fans (which should be just about everyone, as it topped many Game of the Year lists in 2007). However, it's far too early to start thinking about what the third game in this apparent trilogy is going to be like. I haven't even decided how I feel about the movie yet.
