Fable II Gets Solid Release Date
Shipping October 21 in the U.S.

We’ve known for some time now that Fable II was set to be released in October, but for a long time, I was worried that it wouldn’t meet its expected release date. However, with Peter Molyneux’s recent promise that Fable II is finished and his reaffirmation of the October release at E3’s Microsoft Press Conference, it really seemed like the long-awaited RPG would be hitting store shelves before Halloween.
Well, the time has come and Fable II has now gotten a solid U.S. release date. The game is set to ship on October 21, which means it will be in most stores on October 22 in the U.S. And Europe, you guys didn’t get shafted too bad either—you’ll have it on the 24th of October. According to my sources, we are now in the early days of August, which means only about two and a half months are left until I can finally get my hands on this game. Hey, I’ve been waiting almost four years; I can hang on just a little longer.

So now I've got Force Unleashed next month, Fable II in October, and Gears 2 a few weeks after that. My wallet's going to hate me. :/
AWESOME! I pre-ordered this game already and then I got the new EGM which has said it was rumored to be pushed back to 2009.
Well since Darth already said "AWESOME" I can only say DOUBLE AWESOME!!. It has two exclamation points. So you know it's good.
w00t!1 this game is one of the reasons I agreed to buy an eXbox. I'm glad Molyneux has not repeated his last Fable-related acts, giving us the bait-and-switch on release dates and generally causing heartache and uproar. The Lost Chapters was a great game, when it finally came out-- let's hope we don't have to wait for the 'rest' of this game to be released. The thought of more Fable makes me warm and happy.
