Game Informer Reveals Batman: Arkham Asylum
A Dark Batman Game Reminiscent of BioShock?
by Sarah
Monthly video game magazine Game Informer appears to be unveiling a new Batman game in their upcoming September issue. According to the teaser on their website, Batman: Arkham Asylum will grace the cover, and will explore the famous psychiatric hospital:
"This completely original title explores Gotham City’s darkest location, the infamous Arkham Asylum. But as a routine prison transfer goes wrong, the Joker sets his demented plan into action and Batman comes face to face with an army of his worst enemies. In a dark and gritty setting reminiscent of Bioshock (with a story co-written by Paul Dini), Arkham Asylum is setting the stage for a true-to-character Batman game."

Okay, so we know next to nothing about this game that seemingly appeared out of nowhere, but it's got my attention. There's a Bat-themed countdown on the Rocksteady website, but damned if I know what it means. I'll just keep checking the mailbox, waiting for my next issue of GI.
We'll have more information on Batman: Arkham Asylum as it develops.

Hot damn, now that's a Batman game I can get excited about! Looks like it's being made by Rocksteady Studios, about whom I know nothing.
Hmm sounds interesting, lets hope they do it right
