As rumored, it appears that Ghostbusters-themed costumes for LittleBigPlanet are soon to become a downloadable reality. The above image, taken from Siliconera, may be in Japanese, but the characters embodied by Sackboys are instantly recognizable. While the web site doesn't say where the image came from, it seems legit, and though it's not the level creation pack that I wanted, I'm still pretty sure these are going to be added to my DLC collection when they come to North America.

In Japan, the costumes are apparently priced at 200 yen each and 600 yen for the bundle, which equates to $2.15 and $6.15, respectively. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that these will be the North American prices, since neither dates nor price points have been revealed for the western hemisphere. The individual 'Busters are nice, but my heart belongs to that Slimer Sackboy, as well as the Ghost and Marshmallow Man. They're apparently coming to the Japanese PlayStation Store July 16, so maybe we'll get them by the end of the month.
