More Valkyria Chronicles DLC Coming Next Week
"The Challenges of the Edy Detachment" Gives Me Another Reason to Talk About Valkyria Chronicles
by Sarah

Have you played Valkyria Chronicles yet? You should, it's pretty awesome. One of the best strategy games ever is getting even more downloadable content next week, this time in the form of "The Challenges of the Edy Detachment". Coming February 25, "Edy Detachment" will feature six new missions, each featuring a different member of Edy's squad--though you will be able to use any member of Squad 7 in gameplay, which is a plus.
According to the Sega America blog, the missions wil pertain to these particular specialties:
- Scout
- Shocktrooper
- Lancer
- Engineer
- Sniper
- Tank
I've been raving about this game for over a year now, so either you're going to listen to me or you're not, but I'm definitely glad to have another reason to dive into this game. In fact, I had been thinking about replaying Valkyria Chronicles lately, and these new missions may help pass the time until Valkyria Chronicles 2 comes out this summer. No price has been listed just yet, but we won't have long to wait until we find out how much "Edy Detachment" will cost. Thanks, Sega, for giving me another reason to tell people how awesome Valkyria Chronicles is.

Eh. I loved the game, but DLC? No thanks, I still haven't done everything in the regular game.
i need to finish this so i can play the selveria dlc >.<
im on like the second to last chapter
I just have no desire to support this game any further than i did, especially with them giving the big old fuck you and taking the 2nd game to a completely different platform
I'm right there with Voyou on this one. Usually I would be in total support of this, but I cannot do so for this one. I intend on going through the game in its entirety (haven't gone back to it since the reformat of the hard drive after moving) as soon as I can.
