<p><img src="/contributed/1250604574yI46rpDvX2.jpg" height="378" alt="" width="620" /><br /><br />Awesome news! <a href="http://www.destructoid.com/persona-3-portable-announced-adds-new-character-144717.phtml">Destructoid</a> is reporting that <i>Persona 3</i>, one of the best role-playing games of the last ten years, is coming to the PSP. Since this announcement is coming just a little over a month before the remake of <i>Persona</i> launches for the portable system, I immediately assumed that <i>P3</i> or <i>P3 FES</i> was being ported as well. As it turns out, however, <i>Persona 3</i> PSP will feature a new protagonist—a leading lady, with what appears to be a female version of Orpheus as a persona. Orpheus was the persona that the male lead of <i>Persona 3</i> started out with, and it also played a part in “The Answer” portion of <i>FES</i>. Curious!<br /><br /><!--pagebreak--><img src="/contributed/1250604564KpbvB105cT.jpg" height="826" alt="" width="620" /><br /><br />From the <i>Famitsu</i> ads scanned on Destructoid, it appears that <i>Persona 3</i> PSP already has a Japanese release date—November 1. That’s not very long to have to wait, and I hope North America gets it shortly afterwards. I’ve been playing <i>Persona</i> PSP for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say that it’s pretty great, so I trust Atlus to properly move this wonderful game to the handheld. I’m hoping to hear more news from Atlus U.S.A. shortly.</p>
