RPG fans and PS3 owners have been following the development of White Knight Chronicles for quite some time, hoping for an announcement of a U.S. release date or even a time frame. As it turns out, we were assuming all along that WKC would make it to North American shores, because Level 5 has only just confirmed that the game will indeed come out in the Western hemisphere. In an interview with GameTrailers, Level 5 CEO Akihiro Hino breaks this previously-assumed news, along with some other information about the game.

That’s nice and all, but how about some kind of release window? The game was released in Japan on Christmas Day, and though it didn’t exactly receive a glowing review from Japanese mag Famitsu (29 out of 40, ouch), I’m still very curious about it. Only time will tell when the game will be available in the U.S., and whether or not it will be the stellar RPG the PS3 needs.
