Xbox Live Avatars Get More New Clothes
Microsoft's Major Nelson has announced over on his blog that your Xbox Live avatars are about to get some additions to their wardrobes. I sure hope you like collared shirts, because this bundle is all about being preppy. Like the last few updates, these are all free, I guess to celebrate... uh... mid-January?
Boys:
Striped Polo Shirt
Striped Jacket with Polo
Checked Jacket with Polo
Open Neck Cardigan
Embroidered Pants
Suspenders with Hi Pants (Dress Up)
Girls
Hacking Jacket
Chinos with Belt
Rainy Day Boots
Scarlet Pumps
Lavender Polo Shirt
I would usually include an image of my own avatar dressed up in the new digs, but polo shirts and chinos aren't really my thing. I did a Google search to find out what a hacking jacket was, and it's not nearly as cool as it sounds. Hey, at least it's free; guess I shouldn't complain too much. I will, however, laugh and point at any avatars I find in these clothes. It's just my way.

Ok... kind of off topic, kind of not:
Would YOU watch a new Saved by the Bell series starring Mark Paul Gosselar as the new principal of Bayside High and Mr. Belding as the superintendent? I mean, they reloaded 90210, and they'll be reloading Melrose Place soon enough, so why not?

Not quite sure how to answer that one, Sean. I think Mark-Paul Gosselaar has enough on his plate with his new series Raising the Bar on TNT.
I think he's good right where he is. No more guest-starring roles for this guy!

What was wrong with Mr. Belding? I didn't have an issue with him. He was "hip to the jive" or whatever it is he used to say. He was a self proclaimed "cool dude" in the series. I didn't like it when they tried to make Saved by the Bell: The New Class where Dustin Diamond, as Screetch, played the Vice Principle of Bayside High.
Is there no love for Principal Richard Belding?
