Perhaps to try to get as much anticipation as possible built-up before it gets steamrolled by the trio of amazing games coming out in the next two weeks, Sega has announced that a multiplayer demo for the soon-to-be-released shooter Aliens vs. Predator will be made available tomorrow. The demo, which will be coming to PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Steam, will allow gamers to take on any of the game's three races (Alien, Predator, or Colonial Marine). The demo will include one game mode (Deathmatch) and one map (Refinery).

Jason Kingsley, CEA and Creative Director of Rebellion (the game's developer), stated in a press release that the multiplayer experience was something that his team was heavily invested in getting right. "Multiplayer was a huge part of our original AVP game back in 1999, and we’ve kept the spirit of that classic experience in creating the multiplayer for our new Aliens vs Predator. With the demo now gamers can get to grips with each of the three iconic species so they can hone their skills and be ready for when the game launches and battle commences."

To help celebrate the demo's impending release, Sega and Rebellion have released another new trailer for the game, oddly not focused on the Deathmatch mode. No, today's new video highlights the game's "Infestation" mode, which appears to be a modified last-man-standing match type. Aliens are pitted against Marines, and every time a Marine is killed, he becomes an Alien. A cool mode, certainly, but it doesn't really show much in the way of what the demo will include.

Anyway, enjoy!
