Just this very week, Sony was talking at their E3 press conference about how the PS3 is the console with the most "momentum" behind it. At the time, I took that to mean that the company still couldn't claim to be the best selling, or the most popular, or any other superlatives that would apply to the top dog in the console war. But maybe they meant that more and more people are paying attention than before. If that's where they were going with it, then maybe today's Amazon Gold Box Deal is right in keeping with that. All of today's Gold Box sales are on PS3 games and accessories. The deal of the day finds Battlefield Bad Company 2 getting a 33.3333333333% savings, marked down to $39.98 from the regular price of $59.99. The current lightning deal (which runs for another hour and a half as of the time of writing) is the FPS/RPG mix Borderlands, also getting a 1/3 savings, marked down from $39.99 to $26.99. • 2:00PM - "Complete your Grand Theft Auto IV experience" (GTA IV: Episodes From Liberty City)
• 6:00PM - "Charge your PS3 controllers" (charging cables or a charging dock)
