Ever since announcing Fight Night Round 4, EA has been really keen on all of us understanding that this sequel will have so many more upgrades and improvements that it's not just going to be Fight Night 3.1. We've been told about how many more fighters there will be in each weight class, we've been shown the host of legendary names and gorgeously rendered faces that will be playable. And in a new trailer, we get to check out the improved physics engine in place for Round 4.

Take a look:

Along with the impressive (and slimy) looking character models, you can see that there have been some definite advances made in the gameplay. While Round 3 was great when the boxers were at arm's reach, the inside game was always a bit lacking; falling prey to missed punches and more than its fair share of boxers getting tied up. You can tell from the trailer that EA wanted to address that issue head on, and put a great deal of effort into making the entire match as realistic as possible.

Fight Night Round 4 is due out June 30th.
