Fracture Demo Now Live
Lucasarts is certainly on a roll this week. Monday saw the release of the hotly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for just about every platform under the sun, and today the demo for the upcoming terrain-blasting shooter Fracture becomes available for download. So far it's you can only get it from XBLA, but it will almost certainly be added to the PlayStation Store when their update goes live later this afternoon.
I've talked to a few people who had a chance to play some of this at E3, and the response has been mixed. Some have described it as, "tactical while being chaotic, but still fun". While others have labelled it, "gimmicky, corny, and gimmicky" and "disappointingly underwhelming". All I know is that ever since I saw the first video of the gun blowing the ground up from underneath a screen full of enemies, I was going to play this game. And a free demo sounds right up my alley.
Let us know what you think about the Fracture demo.

I played the 360 demo... and while it isn't winning Game of the Year, it's much more fun than it should be.

i really don't think this game looks good, i don't know.. just none of the videos have impressed me and the whole terrain altering just looks stupid.. but it could rock, if the PSN gets a demo then i will try it out.
