Let's face it, you've been busy lately. Between the first games of the holiday season making their way to the shelves, planning for and recovering from Halloween, and a World Series to watch, you've had a pretty full plate lately. So maybe you haven't had a chance to download the demo for Left 4 Dead 2, even though you pre-ordered. Or maybe you've been so swamped, you just haven't even gotten around to pre-ordering it at all. Meanwhile, people with far more free time have been blasting away at the infected for almost a week now. The good news is that your procrastination won't be a problem anymore, as the game's demo is now available for all Gold members of Xbox Live, regardless of whether or not they pre-ordered.

The demo, which will require 1.69GB of hard drive space, is set in The Parish level in New Orleans' French Quarter. It can be played by 1-4 players across Xbox Live, or locally with two-player split screen. Silver Live members will also get to try out the demo before the game hits store shelves on the 17th, but will have to wait another week.

So there you go. You're now officially out of excuses to not get the demo for Left 4 Dead 2. Come to think of it, I haven't downloaded it yet either, so I guess I'm also out of excuses.
