One of the funniest aspects of Grand Theft Auto IV was the many hours of programming Niko could sit down and watch on his television. I have very distinct (and fond) memories of finding myself watching a fictional character watching a fictional TV show on my very real television set. Personally, my favorite of the bunch was Republican Space Rangers, but I'm sure other people liked other shows just as much. In the upcoming Episodes from Liberty City, Rockstar will not only provide new characters, storylines, and weapons; there will also be new television programming. Included in the fake-TV lineup is the brand new (and slightly creepy) Princess Robot Bubblegum.
Here's that show's first commercial:
Looking like a combination of Sailor Moon, La Blue Girl, Gundam, and Dragonball Z, Princess Robot Bubblegum pretty much sums up how I see just about every cartoon made in Japan. It's got that perfect mix of the oddly sexual, poorly translated, and confusingly animated that so many seem to love so much. I guess I know what shows I'll be watching come Thursday night.

it blows my mind how huge GTA is, that they can advertise tv shows that exist only in the game.
