New Fight Night Round 4 Trailer
EA Teases the All-Time Ultimate Boxing Matchup
by Sean
Boxing games have come a long way since Mike Tyson's Punchout and Ring King knocked out NES gamers. However no franchise has been as successful nor as realistic as EA's Fight Night games. Originally known as Knockout Kings, the series made its professional debut on the original PlayStation, and has since seen iterations on nearly every system known to man. Today we (that is, the we who didn't watch the VGAs) get a look at a teaser trailer for the upcoming Fight Night Round 4, and I have to say, it looks like a promising up-and-comer.
Take a look:
Did you see that? Ali vs. Tyson! That's right, Iron Mike is back and back in his prime. With sweet looking graphics (although most likely not gameplay footage) an impressive roster of real boxers, and the Fight Night name behind it, I can't see how this game will be anything other than amazing. Of course it might be a bit problematic that EA Chicago won't be developing this, on account of they no longer exist. There's also rumors swirling that Kid Dynamite himself may grace the cover. Still, it looks great. What do you think?
