After seeing the teaser for David Fincher's upcoming film about the creation of Facebook, The Social Network, I couldn't help but wonder if this guy was granted some kind of immunity from this challenge. Everyday, I hear someone complain about Faecebook. It's a battle between love and hate on the regular, so why on Earth would we want to watch a feature length movie about it? Because David Fincher knows how to make an alluring trailer.

Dammit, David Fincher. This morning I was feeling just fine with never wanting to see your stupid Facebook movie. But now... I don't even know what I believe anymore. I don't want to want it, but I wouldn't necessarily protest if a friend dragged me to it. Hell, I might even throw it on my Netflix queue. Who am I kidding? I'm sure I'll see it in the theater.

Until October comes I will continue to blame the Radiohead choir boys for what they've done to me. Now, I know "Creep" has reached a level of trite after years and years of play, use and Rock Band, but damn is this version haunting. It's amazing what the right song can do for a trailer and honestly, this was kind of perfect. Not to mention, I'm still a total softy for some Pablo Honey.

In other David Fincher news, here's the film that paved the way for his vastly popular film, Fight Club. Sadly, Ferris Club was overshadowed by its better-known remake Ferris Bueller's Day Off. They just didn't get it back then.
