Age Of Conan Delayed again
The Final Delay. No, Seriously. Stop Laughing!
It was initially supposed to drop in October, 2007. It was then pushed back to March of this year. Now, in what is being hilariously referred to as the “final delay”, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures has been pushed back to May 20. The announcement came from developer/publisher Funcom today in the form of a press release. It states “The highly anticipated MMO receives 8 more weeks of development, allowing Funcom to deliver a more polished MMO experience when the game launches on the 20th of May 2008.” Gotta love that "polish" excuse. It never fails.
Delays are perfectly understandable for MMO’s, what with all the stress testing that needs to be done, but Eidos and Funcom are really pushing it. Another eight weeks would be fine if the game wasn’t three months late already. Still, the gameplay looks fantastic for an MMO and the impressions that people got at E3 are keeping the anticipation high for this title. As a huge Conan fan, I am elated at the prospect of an action-based Hyborian MMO, but infuriated by the repeated delays.

I've been anticipating this title for some time now. I really wish it would come out already, I feel like I'm one of the few NOT in the beta...
