Australia Rates "Rayman 3D"
Unknown Game for Unknown Platform

Back in the day, which was in 1995, Ubisoft gave us a charming platforming title called Rayman. Since then, the Rayman series has spawned 4 sequels as well as a spin-off series, Raving Rabbids. I, for one, hate the Rabbids, and resent the fact that they stole the spotlight from the series’ star and one of my favorite gaming protagonists ever. If an early rating by the Australian Classification Board pans out, however, the armless, legless wonder may be back in the starring role.
The ACB has rated “Rayman 3D” for unspecified platforms. While this could just be a collection of older Rayman games upgraded to 3D, it could also be a brand new Rayman game. If the latter turns out to be true, the game would most likely appear on the PS3 or 3DS.
Rayman 3D is not to be confused with Rayman Origins, a 2D side-scrolling prequel to the original game. Rayman is one of the most neglected gaming protagonists in recent years, so it’s nice to se him getting some love now that the Rabbids craze has seemingly died down.
