After several unfortunate delays by Valve, we finally get some good news about the release of Portal 2.  Well, maybe not good news, but at least it’s not bad news.  While Valve will handle digital distribution of the game through its Steam service, EA Partners will bring the game to retail locations. 

EA Partners made the announcement today, stating that they will handle publishing and distribution of the physical PS3, 360, PC, and Mac versions of Portal 2.

Fortunately, the release date hasn’t changed.  We can still expect to begin our co-op romp through Aperture Science on April 20.
