Final Diablo 3 Class Revealed - Demon Hunter
"If They Keep Coming, I Will Never Stop Killing"

At this weekend’s Blizzcon, Blizzard’s Chris Metzen revealed the final playable class for their upcoming highly anticipated dungeon crawler, Diablo 3. Joining the previously announced Witch Doctor, Barbarian, Monk, and Wizard will be the Demon Hunter.
There’s more info about the class on the Diablo website, which only references the female version of the Demon Hunter, though both genders will be available. A ranged class that’s focused on damage, the Demon Hunter will utilize crossbows (which can be dual wielded) as well as flaming arrows, exploding bolas, spike traps, throwing knives, and even hand grenades to dispatch enemies. In a Blizzcon panel, a Blizzard note verified that the Demon Hunter is considered the “Sexy” character class; not surprising, considering the lack of sex appeal held by the pious Monk, the overgrown Barbarian, the austere Wizard, and the downright creepy Witch Doctor.
Diablo 3 still doesn’t have a release date, but Walmart pre-orders list the game as expected some time after January 3, 2011, so don’t expect to be doing any demon hunting this holiday season. As for Blizzcon, plenty of new info was revealed about Diablo 3 this weekend, so check back a little later for a full update on the game that promises to be 2011's bigest PC hit.
