Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare Trailer
"Sum'm Funny's Goin' On Out There"
Red Dead Redemption did a good job of showing what it must have been like to be a gunslinger in the lawless old West. The new DLC pack, "Undead Nightmare," presumably does a good job of showing what it must have been like to be a gunslinger in the lawless old West during the time when zombies roamed the plains. If memory serves me, that was under the Roosevelt administration, right before the Wright Brothers took their historic flight. Yeah, I think that’s right; Roosevelt, then the zombies, then the Wright Brothers. Regardless, here’s an awesome trailer for "Undead Nightmare."
Zombie bears, zombie horses, and zombie people are featured in the video, with John Marston seemingly ready and willing to put bullets in all three. The idea of “husbands eating wives” and “mothers eating children” is a bit of a darker take on the undead, who have been featured in just about every action game, book, and movie that’s come out over the last three years, and adds a nice, creepy feeling to the proceedings. Sharp eyed viewers will notice the words “Blame Washington” scrawled on the side of a carriage, indicating that the zombie infestation may be part of a government plot or cover-up. Interesting stuff, for sure. We’ll find out more about it when the DLC pack is released “Very Soon.”
