Sin City Game Gets New Developer

From the People Who Brought You … Something

by Veggie Jackson

Gamespot reports that this week, Red Mile Entertainment announced that a new developer has been attached to their upcoming game based on Frank Miller’s classic graphic novel, Sin City.  We know that the previous developer, Melbourne, Australia based Transmission Games, will no longer be working on the title, but no new dev has been named.  This comes directly on the heels of related news that Red Mile is entering a co-publishing agreement with Atari in an effort to make sure that both Sin City and WWII flight-sim, Heroes Over Europe (which Transmission will now be focusing on), make it to store shelves.  According to the report, the change-over actually occurred “quite a long time ago.”

Very little is known about the Sin City the Game (let’s hope that’s a working title).  Red Mile has confirmed that the game will run on the Unreal 3 Engine, and a Hollywood Reporter article indicated that Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii versions would be produced, but the publisher has declined comment on the validity of the story.  Other than that, we can assume it will be in black & white (and red), noir-ish, and M-rated.

Don't forget those evil blue eyes of Elijah Wood. Those were kind of creepy eyes in the movie. Wide and unchanging. ::shivers down spine::
