What Are You Playing This Week?

Despite the fact that the next three months are stuffed to the rafters with high profile game releases, this week is suprisingly light. Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood graces our DS's on the first, so I'll at least be trying it out. I'm not a huge Sonic fan, nor am I the kind of gamer that rushes out to grab new RPG's as soon as they launch, but this game is different. It's made by Bioware, and for me, that's good enough for a rental. It could be an RPG based on the life of former President Grover Cleveland, and if BioWare made it, I'd be on board.
Sadly, Legendary, the mythological-creatures-in-modern-times FPS, has been pushed back, so it'll be a few weeks before we get to launch shrapnel grenades into the mouth of a minotaur. Instead, I'll turn my attention to a few games I haven't been able to fully dive into. I'm nearly done with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, though I'll probably play it through one more time after finishing it, just to see what a crazy-powerful Starkiller can do against the very vulnerable, totally unprepared Stormtroopers on the first level.
There's also Pure, which I've barely been able to play. I'm a huge fan of the SSX and ATV series, so this one should be a natural fit. For some reason, though, it just hasn't grabbed me like I thought it would. We got to play Mega Man 9 for the Wii in the office, but playing a game as difficult as this in front of heckling co-workers is no way to play, so I guess I'll need to pay for my own version if I want to make any progress.
Then there's NHL 09. I'm so addicted to it at this point that I can't see myself not regularly playing it until NHL 2010 arrives. Whether online or off, with friends or alone, EA's newest hockey offering never ceases to entertain me. Even when I'm losing miserably. And that's saying something.

Lego Batman, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, maybe Force Unleashed on Sith Master...maybe.
Probably just some NHL 09 and Rock Band 2 in between writing/studying.

i'm playing the game : wait for Far Cry 2. then i'll waste my life away creating new and exciting multiplayer maps!
Lego Batman, Sonic Chronicles, and Rock Band 2. Hopefully I will finish all of them before the big rush starts.
Woohoo! A slow week!
I've recently decided to become obsessed with Sins of a Solar Empire after watching some footage. Stardock hooked me up, so I'm working on reviewing that and The Political Machine, which SO should update depending on the situation. AKA, I want a "STOCK MARKET CRASH" event, simply so I can reply "Meh!" and see my numbers plummet. I also want debates in that game, it's simple enough where these should def. be parts.
I'll also be WAAAGH!ing with friends on two different servers, leveling up my Greenskin, "Coop," and my Dwarf, "Coop." I'll post more when I, uh, remember.
I'm going to therapy to gear myself for the many games that will be put in my 360 in the next two months
um, don't Silent Hill Homecoming and Guilty Gear Overture both come out this week? I know I'm buying both of those titles.
As soon as Mega Man 9 comes out tomorrow for the 360 I'll be all over it all week.
